| The Psi Chi Reflections on Psychology Essay Contest seeks papers on broad issues related to understanding human action and experience. We seek papers that draw on existing literature but which contain original thought about the topic in question. It is our hope that contributors will work to develop their own voice on their chosen topic while simultaneously being responsive to the myriad of other voices related to the topic at hand. We want to know your position -- but your position relative to other already established positions on your topic. This is your chance to develop and express your thoughts! All essays should pursue a clear theme with supporting ideas. Papers should contain a clear introduction and conclusion. For our essay contest, we seek conceptual pieces -- not empirical research papers. To submit empirical research papers, please see our general call for papers. Please consider using section headings to mark off different parts of your paper. |
| We ask that contestants submit a draft by April 10, 2009, the draft will be edited and returned. A final copy is to be submitted at a later date. Submit a draft of your paper to: editors@psychollage.net |
